Cool Technology

BASF's ULTRA-Cool® technology dramatically increases the reflectivity of meduim to darker colors to such a degree that the product will help meet ENERGY STAR® requirements for reflectivity.
Product Description

ULTRA-CLADTM pre-finished metal features BASF's ULTRA-Cool® full strength Kynar 500® and Hylar 5000® paint finishes.  This high performance product provides the ultimate resistance against fading and weathering.  Life expectancy is 30 years minimum.  In addition to our standard colors, custom colors are also available.

Colors shown represent the actual colors as accurate as can be displayed on a monitor.  These are just approximations.  Free metal samples are available upon request. Additional custom colors are also available upon request.
Installation

ULTRA-CLAD® can be cut, formed, fabricated and attached using hand or power tools.  Fabrication and installation shall be in accordance with project drawings and specifications and conform to accepted sheet metal practices and industry standards.  Cutting edges should be kept sharp, clean and properly aligned.  Exercise caution during fabrication and installation to avoid damage.  Protective film must be removed immediately after installation.

 Maintenance

The full strength Kynar 500® and Hylar 5000® finish on ULTRA-CLAD is a premium fluorocarbon finish and does not require maintenance.  If cleaning is desired, use mild soap and water followed by a clean water rinse.
