CMG Expands into Salt Lake City
Coated Metals Group expands its team with the addition of Tyler Fourie to lead the opening of its new Salt Lake City service center.
SALT LAKE CITY, UT, NOV 2017 – Coated Metals Group (CMG) expands its operations by opening a new production and distribution facility in Salt Lake City. Sales representative, Tyler Fourie, will be leading the staff at this new facility.
Already having a strong customer base in the area, the addition of the Salt Lake City location was a logical move for CMG. Tyler is confident they will continue to see growth in this market. “I feel the Salt Lake City market will give us a great reception. Seeing the need for a high quality coil and sheet manufacturer in Salt Lake City makes me excited for the future.”
Gary Woodward, company president, reiterates Tyler’s excitement for the new facility. “We’ve enjoyed steady growth in this region for quite a while and it became clear that a physical presence would improve upon our ability to serve the market. Tyler has held various roles, such as inside sales and regional manager within the industry, giving him an extensive background in the construction and metal industry. Tyler’s experience and expertise make him a welcomed addition to the CMG sales team. Gary states, ” We’re both proud and excited to have Tyler leading the way for us in Utah. CMG’s new facility will stock a full assortment of inventory in both coil and sheet goods. State-of-the-art coil processing equipment will allow for quick turnaround of custom orders and enhanced lead times. Route truck delivery will be available to the greater Salt Lake City metro area.
